Refund policy

Subject to the rights of consumers to return goods for refund under The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000: 

Trash Velvet does not hold stock and all items are made to order. Due to the bespoke nature of an order, handmade cushions and lampshades are non-refundable unless defective. Items may be returned within 7 days for an exchange or a credit note.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. The product you receive might have small imperfections due to the nature of it being 100% handmade to order. If your item is faulty, we will exchange it within 30 business days after shipment has been made.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds 

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
