My Story

Trash Velvet was born out of a passion for luxurious fabrics and a life spent gathering inspiration across the world’s stages. After years of touring internationally with bands, I’ve drawn on the colours, textures, and atmospheres of those experiences to shape designs that celebrate depth, movement, and mood.

Each lampshade is meticulously handmade in my Oxfordshire studio, using rich velvets and delicate silks chosen for their elegance and enduring quality. My work is influenced by the glamour of vintage interiors and the bold beauty of Art Deco design, resulting in pieces that feel both timeless and distinctive.  Lampshades designed not just to illuminate, but to transform a space with warmth, character, and quiet luxury.
